To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ — Ephesians 4:12 (ESV)

My Story – Joseph Siacunco, M.Div., C.P.A. (inactive)

Founder & CFO, Stewardship Architect and Guide

My journey has always been rooted in ministry. Since 2004, I have served in accounting and financial leadership roles while also spending more than a decade serving the local church in a variety of leadership capacities—leading volunteers, mentoring others in their faith, serving on leadership teams, and helping ministries navigate both the spiritual and practical aspects of their mission.

Along the way, God revealed a unique intersection between my passion for ministry and my gifting in accounting and financial stewardship. With a Master of Divinity, a degree in Accounting, and experience as a CPA, I discovered that helping ministries build healthy financial foundations was one of the ways He had equipped me to serve the Church.

Over the years, I have walked alongside ministries during seasons of transition, growth, and restoration, helping bring order where there was confusion and clarity where there was uncertainty. By strengthening financial systems, improving accountability, and building reliable reporting processes, I help leaders gain confidence in the resources God has entrusted to them. Yet what I enjoy most is not simply producing accurate financial statements. It is helping leaders understand the story their financials tell—transforming data into insight that supports wise decisions, healthy ministry, and faithful stewardship.

Mission Forward Accounting exists because I believe strong stewardship advances ministry. When leaders have clarity and confidence in their financials, they are better equipped to focus on their mission, care for their people, and pursue the vision God has placed before them.

Most importantly, I view this work as ministry. My goal is not simply to provide accounting services, but to come alongside ministry leaders as a trusted guide and partner. I want to understand your heart, your vision, your challenges, and the unique calling God has placed on your organization so that together we can strengthen stewardship and advance the mission He has entrusted to you.

Let’s work together to glorify Jesus Christ.
