If Jesus is both Creator and Judge—
and He chose to bear His own judgment to redeem us—
then stewardship is no longer about managing resources.
It’s about responding to love that withheld nothing.
We don’t steward to earn anything.
We steward because everything has already been given.
We belong to Him twice—by creation and by redemption.
Which means nothing we “have” is actually ours… it’s entrusted.
Time.
Talent.
Treasure.
All of it carries the imprint of grace.
And when stewardship is disconnected from that truth, it becomes obligation.
But when it’s rooted in the cross, it becomes worship.
Not “what do I have to give?”
But “how could I not?”
That’s the shift:
From duty → to devotion
From management → to alignment
From ownership → to surrender
Because true stewardship isn’t about control—
it’s about faithfully aligning what He’s entrusted
with the purpose He died to redeem.
